Privacy Policy
This page explains, in plain English, what personal information The Time Care collects when you contact us about a watch or clock repair, why we collect it, and how you can have it removed.
Who we are
The Time Care is a watch and antique clock repair workshop in South Delhi. We serve customers across Delhi-NCR, and we visit homes for antique clocks and watches where that is the sensible thing to do. This website is a brochure site. It is there to tell you what we repair, where we are, and how to reach us. You cannot pay online through it, and there are no user accounts or logins to create. Our address is C-7/147, Sewa Sadan, Sangam Vihar, Bandh Road, New Delhi - 110062.
What the contact form collects
Our contact form asks for your name, your phone number, your email address and a message describing your timepiece and what is wrong with it. That is all. We ask for your name so we know how to address you, and for your phone number and email so we can reply in whichever way suits you. The message itself helps us understand the piece before you bring it in, which saves you a wasted trip. Please do not send us any financial details, identity document numbers or other sensitive information through the form. We never need them.
Why we use your details
We use what you send us to answer your enquiry, to ask any follow-up questions about the movement or the case, to give you a free estimate, and to tell you roughly how long the work is likely to take. If you go ahead with a repair, we use your contact details to keep you updated and to let you know when the piece is ready for collection. That is the whole purpose. We do not add you to a marketing list, and we do not send you promotional messages you did not ask for.
We do not sell your data
We do not sell, rent, trade or swap your personal information with anyone. Your details are not a product and we do not treat them as one. We do not pass your enquiry to advertisers, lead brokers or data resellers. The only time your information goes beyond our workshop is when it genuinely has to: for example, if a part for your piece must be ordered from a specialist supplier, we may share the minimum needed to arrange that, such as a movement reference. We would not share your phone number or email for that purpose without telling you.
How long we keep enquiry records
We keep enquiry and repair records for as long as they are genuinely useful to you and to us, and no longer. A record of past work is often worth holding on to, because it tells us what was done to a movement the last time it was on the bench, which parts were fitted, and what to check first if the piece comes back. Enquiries that never turned into a job are cleared out periodically once it is clear no repair is going ahead. When a record is no longer needed, we delete it or destroy the paper copy.
Cookies
This site is a simple brochure site and does not need cookies to show you its pages. If cookies are used at all, they would be basic ones that help the site work properly or tell us, in aggregate, which pages people find useful. We do not use cookies to build an advertising profile of you, to follow you around other websites, or to show you remarketing adverts later. Your browser lets you block or delete cookies from its settings, and doing so will not stop you reading anything here or contacting us.
Maps and other embedded content
Some pages may embed content from other services, such as a map showing where our workshop is. When that content loads, it comes from the other company's servers, and those servers can see your request and may set their own cookies on your device. That is outside our control and is governed by that company's own privacy policy, not ours. If you would rather not load embedded content, most browsers and browser extensions let you block it. You can always just use the written address and phone number on our contact page instead.
Your choices and how to reach us
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct anything that is wrong, or ask us to delete your details altogether. Email [email protected] and tell us which enquiry you mean, so we can find the right record. We will act on your request as soon as we reasonably can, unless we are required to keep something. You can also phone us on (+91) 8700956690, Monday to Sunday, 09:00 to 18:00. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, tell us and we will try to put it right.
